Welcome to Cozies4Cavies.com where we specialize in making cozy sleepsacks and play tunnels for small pets. We offer a wide variety of colors and patterns to choose from, each as unique and individual as your pet's distinctive personalities. Custom orders may be available if you have a particular theme or color scheme in mind and do not see it showcased.
Have you ever gotten a new cozy or tunnel and your piggies LOVE them until they've been washed a few times and the fabric is no longer crisp and the openings collapse? Now you basically have a bunch of blankets for your cavies to sleep on top of. Not exactly what you had in mind. Well, thanks to the wonderful suggestion of a very valued customer, we have now added boning to assist in keeping the entrances open for easy access. My piggies as well as many others LOVE their cozies and tunnels! Thank you, Ginger!
All of our cozy sleepsacks are handmade and ideal for your guinea pig/cavy. When nestled inside, cavies feel safe, warm and comfy, especially on those cold winter nights or hot summer nights when the air conditioner is cranked all the way up!
Play tunnels provide an excellent source of entertainment for your pet and our cozy sleepsacks are perfect for:
- snuggling with your pet;
- a cavy hideout;
- use as a cage accessory for your pet to nap in or sleep in at night;
- and use as a pet carrier. This purpose is especially helpful with skittish cavies, particularly when handled by young children, giving you and your pet an added sense of security.
Machine washable and made with care, there are no seams for your pet to get nails caught in. All of our products are made with an inner lining of soft fleece for comfort and warmth. Our cozy sleepsacks and play tunnels are available with an outer layer of cotton, flannel, or fleece ... easily reversible, thereby doubling the life of the item.
Average cozy size is approximately 11" wide x 12" long; average tunnel size is 8" wide x 10-11" long (flattened out for measuring). Please note these are just averages and sizes may vary slightly as these are all individually sewn. These cozies and tunnels should fit one adult cavy comfortably; however, if your intent is for two or more adult cavies to snuggle together, a larger size will be necessary.
Larger cozies and play tunnels can be custom made upon request for your larger cavies (and/or for multiples snuggling together) or other exotic pets, such as ferrets or chinchillas. Larger sizes have also been used for the canine Toy Breeds such as the Chihuahua, Dachshund, Pappillon, Pomeranian, Chinese Crested, Yorkshire Terrier, and the Mini-Pinscher. Please note that these larger items will need to be made according to your size specifications and, therefore, will not be available for immediate shipment.
Prices are in U.S. Dollars and range from $6-19 depending on product and specific fabric desired. Shipping is $3.50 for cozies or tunnels and $4.50 for combo sets. If buying multiple cozies or tunnels (other than combos), add $1.50 for each additional item. All shipping charges are within Continental U.S. only and includes delivery confirmation.
